New Year New Me

In effort to get more organized I am planning menus out for the week. Tonight we tried a new recipe will let you know how it turns out. I have been cleaning out things and trying to get organized hope it happens... lol

I am also going to be couponing a lot will pass deals on to you....Everyone says couponing is easy we shall see..... will keep you posted on that on.

here is the recipe for tonight.....

15 min. skillet chicken and rice (easy and fast my two favorite things lol)

  • 1 Tbs. vegetable oil
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (about 1 lb.)
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup (Regular or 98% Fat Free)
  • 1 1/2 C. water
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 2 C. uncooked instant white rice*
  • 2 C. fresh or frozen broccoli flowerets

Directions

Heat the oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 10 minutes or until well browned on both sides. Remove the chicken from the skillet. Stir the soup, water, paprika and black pepper in the skillet and heat to a boil. Stir in the rice and broccoli. Reduce the heat to low. Return the chicken to the skillet. Sprinkle the chicken with additional paprika and black pepper. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked though. *For a creamier dish, decrease the rice to 1 1/2 C.. RECIPE TIPS: This recipe is also delicious using Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup instead of the Cream of Chicken.

  1. Recipe looks great! Let me know how the couponing goes, have been wanting to add that to the list of things I will do but haven't gotten to. So if it works well for you, I'll know to give it a shot.

Hope this New Year will bring some much needed prospering and peace to all of our lives. Have a wonderful night!
